Alien Board Game

Board game produced by Kenner in 1979. This is one of only a few items of Kenner's that made it to the production stage, the others being the 18" Alien and Movie Viewer. "An Exciting Game Of Elimination And Escape!" The point of the game is to guide your player (2-4 players) through the mother ship and be the first to the escape pod, all while avoiding getting chomped by the Alien in the meantime. This game was also released in French, Italian, and Australian (from Toltoys) form. You might notice the red around the Alien on the instruction sheet. When I first received this game, I thought someone has spilled something on it...red Kool Aid, who knows. Anyway, it turns out that *all* instruction sheets I've seen (other than Toltoys versions) have this red marking, so it's apparently a factory defect.
